Build your Boat Challenge for March

Join me for 31 days of building your core strength, staring March 1st!

The core is at the center of our bodies, it includes our abs, hips, back, and chest. Our core stabilizes our body, allowing for proper balance. It supports our body and a strong core is beneficial as it allows our body to function properly.

Core exercises like boat or navasana train the muscles in our pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work together. This creates balance and stability making our daily activities such as walking, running, and sitting much easier.

A body that is properly aligned and upright will make you less prone to have back pain. Our core is at the center of our body, it supports our entire body especially the neck and the back. A weak core forces the other structures of your back to work harder to support the body, leading to back pain.

A strengthened core builds good posture, lessening the erosion of the spine and allowing you to breathe deeply. This brings oxygen to our muscles and enables them to contract as they should.

Nothing but good things can come from building our boat and a more solid core, so reconnect with your core!
